Ms. George's Terminale OIB English Class 2010-11

The Terminale OIB English course complements and continues the work begun in Première OIB. We continue to sharpen our analytical and close reading skills as we probe issues of self and other, individual and society, assimilation and alienation. Some of our major texts are concerned in particular with race and colonization.

Ms. George: New York, NY, United States; Ms. George is actually a doctor -- the kind that is useless in an emergency. She received her Ph.D. in English in 2006. Her dissertation was about eighteenth-century English and French literature. She taught at colleges in the NYC area before coming to the Lycée in 2008.
